“Ask a Local” Provides bike riding support

Steve Drivon-Lead Mechanic at The Bike GarageHow many times have you thought “why don’t they teach students how to ride a bike?” Are you frustrated by riders who don’t stop at stop signs or use hand signals; afraid of hitting someone on a bike at night because you can’t see them?

Be a part of the solution by becoming an “Ask a Local” participant at upcoming 2-hour Free Bike Clinics presented by The Bike Campaign at large apartment complexes in Davis and Woodland.

Professional mechanics perform 50-Point Bike check-ups while local residents show-and-tell how to use a bike pump, what to do when you get a flat, and how to enjoy the biking lifestyle. Easy and fun, training provided.  Contact Maria Tebbutt at (530) 753-1125 or funmaria@sbcglobal.net.
