We do all kinds of rides and trainings based on your interest and availability. Below are some of our favorites.
Biking for parents and children in grades 2–6
Join The Bike Campaign’s certified cycling instructor for two hours of fun learning, games, and skill building. This workshop is for kids who are able to ride a bike and ready to take to the streets and bike lanes with their parents or alone. Parents and kids must attend together. Bring your bikes, helmets and locks. (New helmets available for $10). Certificate of completion and ice cream awarded to participants.
Casual 1-hour ride around town
All types of bikes and level of riders welcome.
Ride from Woodland to Davis: For those who want a longer ride or challenge, approx. 25 miles round trip. Stop for coffee at Nugget in E. Davis or ride to the Farmer’s Market.
Ice Cream Fun rides
Thinking about getting back on your bike but need a little incentive? How about ice cream at the end of the ride? The Bike Campaign invites you, your family, neighbors and friends to come out and ride your bikes. These casual, up to 1-hour rides are for all ages and abilities.
Women on Wheels
Meet other women who want to ride their bikes. Gain confidence and strength through camaraderie while you make new friends. All levels welcome.
FREE Neighborhood Bike Clinics
The Bike Campaign has designed an easy to use package for making neighborhoods more bike friendly. Bring your neighbors together for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon 2-hour bike clinic and get bikes up and rolling while improving bike confidence and safety.
Bike mechanics are available to assist or we’ll show you how to do it yourself by pooling your neighbors’ abilities, making new friends and learning new skills. Easy and practical.
